16 Days - Vietnam Motorcyle Tour

You will be able to discover the Tonkin, from the first day of this experience, various sceneries while riding through the surrounding moutains, hills and ethnic villages

Day 01: Arrive Hanoi - Capital of Vietnam
Upon arrival, Our Tour guide and driver will pick up and transfer to H anoi for check in hotel.Then briefing some information of the Vietnam motorcycle tours, Vietnam traffic rules, the bikes…Free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi – Mai Chau - Mai Ha (160 km, 4 hours riding)
After breakfast, we will start the first day of the trip to the most beautiful Vietnam Motorcycle Tours to Mai Chai Valley.which brims with  traditional farming activity, we pass through limestone monoliths and into foothills populated by Muong people. We head straight at the main range before breaching a high and beautiful forested pass, which descends into the hidden valley of Mai Chau where we spend the night with friends in a traditional Thai stilt house in a Thai village. Overnight in Mai Ha

Day 03: Mai Chau – Moc Chau - Son La (185 km, 6 hours riding)
On good road looking high over distant mountains we head up into a forested region populated by H’mong people before descending into a mountainous tea-growing region. surrounded by Black Thai villages. Overnight at Trade Union Hotel Son La

Day 04: Son La – Tuan Giao (140 km, 4 hours riding)
Heading out northwest from Son La, the road crosses a series of mountain passes and areas of busy Black Thai activity. Children walk to school, kids tend buffaloes, women plant rice seedlings and men pull the buffalo. Then we cross Pha Din pass where at the top we can have over views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight in Tuan Giao.

Day05: Tuan Giao – Chan Nua - Sin Ho (180 km, 6 hours riding)
Morning ride from Tuan Giao to Sin Ho.Pass down the isolated communities of Hmong and Thai people,where small villages settle on the banks of dark green rivers and on the steep slopes of the mountains. After lunch, heading up the high Sa Tong pass to view sunset before descending into the deep Lai Chau valley. Overnight in Sin Ho.

Day 06: Sin Ho – Tam Duong - Sapa Tour (120 km, 4 hours riding)
We head straight toward the main Fansipan Mountain range up from Binh Lu and to the top of the highest road pass in Vietnam (Tram Ton Pass). Crossing into Lao Cai Province at over 2,000m. before descending to the mountainous Sa Pa valley. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 07: Sapa - Ethnic Villages
After breakfast, we will do one of the most beautiful Sapa Tours by driving to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van village of the Black H’mong and the Day people where you can enjoy fresh air, amazing scenery of the imposing mountain range, world’s most beautiful terraced rice fields, visit some local family on the way and learn unique culture and life of these ethnic groups. Back to Sapa, free at leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight at hotel in Sapa

Day 08: Sapa – Lao Cai - Bac Ha (120 km, 4 hours riding)
The markets in the Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes, unique of Vietnam Minority people come down from the mountains to exchange their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking.

In the morning, drive to visit one of the weekly markets;

Market days:
Saturdays - Can Cau Market or Gia Long Market
Sundays - Bac Ha, Muong Hum or Muong Khuong Markets
Wednesdays – Cao Son Market
Thursdays - Lung Khau Nhin Market
Tuesdays  - Coc Ly Market
Overnight in Bac Ha Town

Day 09: Bac Ha – Hoang Su Phi - Ha Giang (200 km, 7 hours riding)
Today  we visit lively and colorful market in Bac Ha before we continue our unforgettable Vietnam motorcycle tour to Ha Giang via Xin Man and Hoang Su Phi. The road is very beautiful and curves .
Overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 10: Ha Giang – Yen Minh - Dong Van (145 km, 5 hours riding)
Ha Giang must be the most beautiful destination for any rider and highlights of the trip.Visit one of the most remote land in Vietnam where many ethnic groups with their unique cultures and imposing mountains – the “Heaven Gate” in Quan Ba, Rock Plateau and the Vuong palace in Dong Van Overnight in Dong Van ;Tung LamHotel

Day 11: Dong Van – Meovac -Bao Lac (100 km, 3 hours riding)
After the breakfast, let spend your time to visit Dong Van old street and if it falls on Sunday, you will have great opportunity to visit the weekly maket of Dong Van where gathers many ethnic groups and their local products. The market is like a festival for the local to enjoy the time with friends, talking, drinking…Continue to Bao Lac via Meo Vac and the highlight will be the conquering the Ma Phi Leng pass. Overnight in Bao Lac :Song Gam Hotel

Day 12: Bao Lac – Quang Hoa (110km, 4 hours riding)
Morning visit to the local market in Bao Lac before our trip to Quang Hoa, a far north district of Cao Bang province where owns its beautiful landscape and home to many ethnic groups. Tonight, we stay in the homestay of a Nung family.
Overnight in Quang Uyen: Homestay

Day 13: Quang Hoa – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Quang Hoa (140 km, 5 hours riding)
Having obtained permission from the border police, we make our way through spectacular scenery to Vietnam’s most impressive waterfalls. Weather permitting we can swim right up to where the 50 m high falls hit the river. Back to Quang Uyen and visit Nguom Ngao cave cave.
Stay a second night in Quang Uyen.

Day 14: Quang Hoa – Ba Be Lake (170 km, 5 hours riding)
Ride from Quang Uyen to Babe lake & park where the landscape is amazing and the homestay is another unique experience. Upon your arrival, you are free at leisure to do the boat trip or walk to explore the village of the Tay people. Overnight in homestay of a Tay family.

Day 15: Ba Be Lake – Vu Linh (170 km, 5 hours riding)
After breakfast, we drive to Vu Linh village of the Dao people by Thac Ba Lake which has an area of 23,400 ha and 1,331 islands and hills with diverse ecological environments. The water in the lake is blue and clear, and imprinted with the reflections of the surrounding ancient forest. Overnight in Vu Linh

Day 16: Vu Linh – Hanoi - Departure (180 km, 6 hours riding)
Finish the trip with a easy road to ride back to Hanoi. Free time at your leisure until departure flight. End of services
