06 days - Trekking in Pu Luong Nature Reserve

Day 01: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Mai Hich ( Lunch and Diner included )
Depart Hanoi for Pu Luong Natural Reserve via Mai Chau. This scenic drive takes around 4 hours.
Along the way we pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies. We will reach Mai Chau valley by lunchtime.
Following lunch in Pom Coong village we drive 14 miles (22 km) further into the reserve where we begin our hike.
We will reach Mai Hich village Village, free time to discover the villagewhich is home to a Thai ethnic minority. We spend the night with a local Thai family who will be our hosts in a traditional house built on stilts. Before dinner we can stroll around the village to observe the daily life and activities of the locals.

Day 02: Trek to Kho Muong Village ( B, L , D)
Enjoy breakfast in the morning, before a 6-hour walk through the villages. In a village along the way we will take a lunch break.
After lunch we will pass through several Thai villages before arriving at the village of Kho Muong. As the name suggests this is a Muong minority village and we will be their guests for the night.

Day 03: Trek to Hin Village ( B, L , D)
The third day will start with a climb to the Pu Luong range. En route we will pass through a number of small villages. After 4 hours of light ascent the path will take us down to the village of Hin. In this village of Thai ethnic minorities, we will spend the night in local home.

Day 04: Trek to Hieu Village ( B, L , D)
Our trek through the lush countryside will take around 3 hours. The hiking path runs uphill and downhill through forest, rice terraces and scenic villages. On the way we may see farmers working on rice paddies and children going to school. We will stop for a lunch break in a local village. Free time at leisure to soak up the fresh atmosphere and jump in the amazing waterfalls of the village
We spend the night in the Hieu village.

Day 05: Hieu Village ( B, L , D)
Today is a relaxing day to discover surrounding villages. We can take a stroll in Am Valley to observe the daily life of the locals or just relax in the waterfalls. Our overnight homestay will be in Hieu village.

Day 06: Hieu - Pho Doan – Hanoi
After breakfast we trek toward Ma River. The trek is quite gentle since we descend a wide-open valley. After 1h30 hours we will reach Pho Doan Town where we will visit to the local market. Afterwards we drive along Ma River. We will be picked up and taken to Hanoi. End of our service
The tour concludes at 5 pm in Hanoi.
